Credentials speak for themselves. Brady has done it. Manning still has some things to prove. But he (Manning) is one football smart SOB no matter. One of the Top minds in football.

Better physical QB: Manning

Better team leader: Brady

Manning can rack up the numbers but Brady racks up the rings. IMO they're both great QB's but there is no substitute for Super Bowl rings (YOU HEAR ME ANDY REID)

Rail, are you talking about two guys on the tennis tour or something? I like your insight sometimes, but this kind of stuff just makes you look silly. I suppose you have Jeff Blake and Jay Fiedler as better players than Manning?

I agree with The General. Credentials speak for themselves and Brady has them. Another reason why I think that Brady is better because he doesnt have near the surroundings that Manning does but yet Brady always seems to win games.

Come on how simple is this? Brady has a defense that wins titles for him, Manning doesn't. I don't think there is a GM in the league that if he was building a team would pick Brady over Manning. Manning is the consummate leader and on-field coach, that is a factor you can never underestimate. Manning may never win a title, but it is hard to argue he isn't the best pure QB in the game. In a game with 47 players on a squad, you can't possibly think one player is the one who determines if you are going to win or not.

Manning may be another Marino, never winning it all....I think he`s the smartest football we have seen in quite sometime, and obviously a tremendous talent ...He may never win one though!

What you got to do is just ask yourself knowing what you know about the 2 players accomplishments...who would you want at QB if you were starting a team.
25 years from now they will remember Brady for 2 rings Manning is just another bunch of gawdy stats.

There is not 1 GM, except maybe for NE's biased GM.

I think Brady as the credentials speak for themself, as already mentioned by the posters.

I think that people give Manning a little to much credit. I think that Manning has great receivers who get open for him. Sure he knows the routes well, but the games I've seen of him his receivers were open for the pass. Compare to other teams I see his receivers creating the most space for Manning to throw it to. I think Manning is great, but he's got great offensive talent from the backs, to receivers and tigt ends. Whom, I think make him look better then he really is.

Brady did not have offensive talent around him? Did Joe Montana not have talent? That's a poor analogy IMO. Manning threads the needle as good as anyone. He makes those around him better.

I understand your opinion General.

Brady has some talent around him and won. Montana had talent around him and won. Payton has great talent around him and has not won a thing. I think that Manning has great Offensive players whom creates good space for him to throw it to. So many passes I've seen were thrown in stride with the receiver past his defender. Manning does not make the big plays when they are needed, and when he has to scramble looks lost. And when it comes to making team better please, the one who does it or did it the most was FARVE. You can't tell me that Manning has average or just good players on his team that are great because of him.

Pretty much like arguing the Bible. Useless argument for so early in the day.
